I have been into photography for about four years now.
After two years at Vennesla High School attending Media & Communication, I went on to become an apprentice
for a photographer in Stavanger, Norway around November of '04.
I spent a whole year in Stavanger before cutting the job and returning to Kristiansand, my hometown in Norway,
to finish my Civil Service for the Norwegian Army.
Still in Kristiansand I work freelance as a photographer,
Shooting mostly extreme sports like skateboard, snowboard and surfing.
Also taken some fashion and advertisement jobs for various clients.
- My main interest for photography started at my second year of high school.
This was the first time we had photography included in the education.
We were given a project with various tasks, and we had to pick four of which we would shoot and hand in to the teacher.
After getting a great feedback from both my classmates and the teacher,
I got the feeling that there was finally something I might be good at, and soon it went out of control!
I borrowed a camera home from school and started taking photos of everything I saw!
And at the same time, I had a pretty bad injury on my skateboard.
This forced me view all the fun off my board instead of participating.
And at this point, it came quite natural to combine my new interest for photography with skateboarding.
The result was good enough for the manager at the local skateshop to want to use the photos in an
advertisement in "The Board Bible", one of Norway’s biggest skateboard magazines.
The editor of The Bible, whom is also a photographer, noticed my photos and I started getting some jobs for the mag.
After this, it has spread, and I am now shooting for lots of Norwegian Extremesport Magazines.

Other than shooting sports, I focus on widening my horizon by taking photos of everything i see!
From landscape to people and all the random things you see everyday...
I try to give my pictures sharp focus and strong colors,
so that everyone can have the same good feeling when they view the photos as I get taking them.
